Decluttering has never been easier with our Full-Service Junk Removal!
At Scrap-It N Move-It, we believe junk removal is about more than simply loading unwanted items into a truck and taking them to the landfill. Our goal is to provide Edmonton and the surrounding communities with a professional, environmentally responsible, and customer-focused service that gives your unwanted items every opportunity for a second life.
Whether you're cleaning out your home, office, garage, or construction site, downsizing, renovating, preparing a property for sale, managing an estate, or simply reclaiming valuable space, our experienced team is here to help. We handle all the heavy lifting, loading, and cleanup, making junk removal simple, efficient, and stress-free from start to finish.
Whenever possible, we look for opportunities to donate, recycle, or identify items that may have resale value through our Clutter to Cash program. It's just one more way we're committed to reducing landfill waste while helping our customers get the most value from the items they no longer need.

Every Load Is Carefully Sorted
Unlike many junk removal companies that dispose of everything together, we take the time to sort as we load. This helps reduce landfill waste while ensuring reusable and recyclable materials are handled responsibly. Each load is separated into four main categories:
Resellable Items/Donation Items
Many items still have plenty of life left in them. If furniture, household goods, décor, kitchenware, tools, toys, sporting equipment, or other household items are clean, safe, and in good working condition, we'll set them aside to be sold or to be donated whenever possible.
Donating usable items helps support local organizations, reduces unnecessary landfill waste, and gives someone else the opportunity to benefit from items that are no longer needed.
One of the things that makes Scrap-It N Move-It different is our exclusive Clutter to Cash Program.
Sometimes people throw away or donate items simply because they no longer need them—not because they have no value.
Once the item sells, we'll share the proceeds with you according to our Clutter to Cash Program terms.
Instead of valuable items ending up in the landfill or being donated, you could receive money back.
It's an innovative way to reduce waste while helping our customers recover value from unwanted belongings.
Metal Recycling
Metal should never end up in the landfill when it can be recycled.
We separate all recyclable metals, including:
-
Appliances
-
Barbecues
-
Lawn equipment
-
Metal shelving
-
Automotive parts
-
Scrap metal
These materials are taken to approved recycling facilities where they can be processed and reused in the manufacturing of new products.
General Junk
Unfortunately, not everything can be reused or recycled.
Broken furniture, damaged materials, contaminated items, worn-out household goods, and other non-recyclable waste are disposed of responsibly at approved waste management facilities.
Our goal is always to minimize what ultimately ends up in the landfill by exhausting every practical opportunity to donate, recycle, or repurpose materials first.
